I think it's a double cart race map. You can see 2 blu/red rails with 2 carts on it going to the top. I think there are already too many CP maps. I rather like to see more CTFs or Payloads or maybe a new TC, since there is now only 1 TC map(hydro)
remarkable then that goldrush is so popular... we even have a 24/7 dustbowl map. I like everything, PL, CP, TC, CTF, as long as the map is thusly made that both sides have an equal chance of winning. Maps like fastlane and badlands, but also turbine and 2fort can offer such situations because of the symmetry of those maps. However I personally really like the maps where you actually go somewhere and where each team has their own strategic advantage. Like Dustbowl, Goldrush, Hydro, and Badwater. The map I am planning on making is supposed to be badwater style, one-way 5 point pl map. I just need to focus on making it... Junction and egypt aren't very popular, although I think at least junction is a nice map. Problem with new maps is that everyone is lost at first, and people don't like to be lost. It's gonna take a while for those new maps to get accepted, especially when it has a new concept. Note: They stole my idea! I have been wondering if it was possible to make a double payload map some time ago. This looks like a race, probably a symmetric map again with the finish at the same point. My idea was actually to make 2 bases opposite eachother, and let every payload go its own way. First to throw the bomb in the enemies pit wins ^^ Can't wait for the update still

Yea... Goldrush is hell for the attacking team. Only the 1st stage is fun to play as blue. Badwater kicks ass

Remember, Killvion, that this game is called TEAM Fortress 2. Ofcourse extremely skilled players like myself can make the difference (/sarcasm) but this game is based on teamwork and communication.
Also, this game wasn't designed for 32 players instarespawn goldrush. 70% red isn't all that high if you think about it. Even "our" servers are too large. Play TF2 with 16 players and there's your balance.
I just mean that getting angry on the team and rage quitting (meta...) isn't helping anyone. but trying again to get everybody working together might
That imbalance is most likely because of all those instant respawn servers. Goldrush is hard enough, but with instant respawn it's pretty much impossible when both teams are even. 16 or only even 12 players is nice. It's always lovely if LZ is down to this amount of people. Especially since Scouting is finally possible without dying every few seconds because you get flanked by an other enemy you didn't notice. But try to find servers like these... to play such games you almost have to be in a clan and I don't really have the time nor the skill to be part of one.

You know there is a team scrabble function huh? and maybe he's leaving to fill up other servers? Because I personally never saw Killvion quitting because the teams are unbalanced..
The thing about team scramble is that it NEVER happens. I haven't seen a teamscramble is a looooong time, mostly just 1 guy votes it and none pays any attention to it. Like 15 people out of 24 is needed to it. People rather just leave than start voting on it.
True true. And maybe ur right Cauchemar about the instant spawn GR servers, but Lethal zone has one too. I vote insta spawn off and no goldrush on 1 and 2.
i'l agree that Goldrush gets too much playtime on our servers and i've been using Badwater more and more to fill servers just for variety's sake but saying its an unbalanced map? i dont know, it has never really felt to me like that and if you go by stats you also have to take into account that allot of people prefer playing defence on payload maps(ie RED) simply because its easier kills all around and from those people there are tons that also just stack the fuck out of servers not even mentioning the generally lame ass 32 instant tank roll servers so forgive me if i call bullshit on that data scramble sadly doesnt seem to work sofar, lot of inactive people playin on our servers that simply ignore it or just fail to even see it, its relatively new for us so lets see if it improves, last 2 days i've seen people just getting familiar with the option so..
