I'm not worried at all. I personally circulate between different passwords when I sign up for something, and this is not directly linked to Steam. Even if it was, you'd still get that box asking for the key sent to your mail because of the connection from a new IP adress. Whoever did it is not gaining anything.

That's your problem right there Thanks for the info though, this was the first i heard. You should make sure your steam account name, display name and any other forum names are completely different and unrelated then you don't have to worry.
it should be like this: secondly, about your passwords, i think right now vb uses md5(password . salt), or maybe md5(md5(password). salt), I'm not sure, anyway its pretty strong
