http://steamcommunity.com/market Just noticed it. Dunno what to think about it. Basicly you can buy items from other players for money more easily using your steam wallet. Already 18k crates in ze market heh: http://puu.sh/1Abxh And apparently you can only put tools for sale (for now). Ye. In the long term Key prices are going to double (or close to) People won't buy from the store anymore when they have a safe way to obtain keys for a lower price. Once this supply dries up buyers have no choice but to return to the store. Re-sellers like me have no way to obtain keys as cheaply when any tom dick and harry can sell for cash through Steam. Buy key's people, and sit on them.
You cannot cash out with steam purse money. it sits on your steam account, and the only thing you can do is either: buy games or buy items via the market... Also with a limit of 200,- its pretty lower end of marked aimed.
either way, most of my earnings of tf2 stuff goes to steam games anyway, so nice that they added a more legit version. ;D
Made 0.31 cents! Yaay Not quite sure if it's something positive, except the fact that I now have a good place to leave my crates. (I used to delete them, but now I just put them up for 2 cents, who knows).
Got a problem with it. I'm looking for a specific item. Couple of days ago i screened the market almost constantly. And didnt found it in the selling list. After i checked the history of the item, it said that it was sold many times. Any ideas or suggestions what to do with that? Cheers $oul
Probably Market-Bots. They scan the market without any need of sleep and work etc. with scripts for cheap items. For example an idiot lists a g. quadwrangler (I saw that one) for 2 cents on the market, but one second later it was gone before I could attempt to buy it. ... Yes they exist, and there's nothing a casual human trader can do about it since it's Valves job to keep the market clean.
Yeah, when i was on my mass buying key spree I saw 1 for a very low price but some player (bot?) beat me to it
