tf2 update broke sourcemod ( confirmed) so no adminacces or any other nifty thing for us atm. (teh suck)
Anyways, all tf2 servers full at this our of the day whilst many other tf2 servers ( also from the big well known) are either empty or just starting to update. Will spam the new maps for now for everyone to check out will probably change em back soon ( with new maps included of course)
yeah some nice updates and some SUCK haha best one is that stun no longer hiys ubered enemy's good thing for die hard medics like me (ok valve now fix airblast hitting an uber) giving doublejump back to scouts is kinda nice so i think the -30hp penalty is nice you gain you lose some ctf_sawmill????? ok we all know ctf is underrated but common it's a remodel (2nd for the same map -> KotH & CTF) and yet again a comunitymap??? getting lazy is suppose... i realy liked a new (valve-made) cp_map or hell a NEW map this update is kind of a joke to me :s (in contrast to other updates) ok it's free but this is realy kinda boring
A lot of "beta" fixes, that's just awesome. And the sandman is way more balanced now imo. But seriously why 10 seconds of crits on capture of the intel. That is just way too much, and I hope it can be turned off.
I agree there is no use for 10 seconds of crits after capping. Has anyone wondered what is going to happen to the achievement "stun X ubercharged enemies with the sandman" ?
I totally forgot about that one, it's still there for me atleast, but I already achieved it. Blue Background is awesome. KotH is just one big clusterfuck but the overtime glitch makes it damn funny. The new kritzkrieg effect is way better to see and the auto-reload mode is awesome. Valve you have done me proud.
you know i'm kinda disapointed... yes new hats are realy nice but eum valve arent you forgetting something you promissed tp fix... WHY ISN'T THE FRIGGIN ITEMDROP SYSTEM FIXED :cry: this just adds more chaos to the mix sure they updated it (a litlle) but this is not what i expected now we still don't have any influence on what we find and still get those shitty items nobody cares about. and yes 10 sec crit boots for the whole team??? why not just drop a nuke in the midle of the map in the proces??? haha and forgot about that achievement to altough i realy think it's better this way ubercharges are sometimes the only way to win the map and by stunning it just annoys the livving daylight out of me haha same as pyro airblast (not as anoying as the stun tough)

I like the updates, maps are great (just didn't play Viaduct yet). I like Sawmill, played CTF and KotH for a while on it, it's a great map. Overtime glitch is kinda crazy :lol: I really like Yukon as well, it's large but really good balanced.
I only played Yukon for a little while, but it is nice indeed. Endgame is fun, defeaters walking round with hands in the air... Can't wait to play the rest.
@ the defeat animations look at the pyro around 1,20 i think looks kinda girly/gay haha i like most things but i hate the 10sec critbuff (capper tells everyone to spam solly demo or heavy = huge spamfest of crits resulting other team hides in the spawn every 10 sec after a flagcap) this is the end for all CTF imho i played 2fort it realy sucks now (think turbine is going to be even WORSE)
10 sec critbuff is retarted allready makin a less popular mode even dumber will surely increase popularity! hate when they pull cheap shit like this and expect a pat on the back reworked Nucleus and Sawmill for KoTH are ok, woulda prefered a 5 cp conversion and and expanded take on Nucleus as i dont really care that much for KoTH as its another cheap/no budget way of "expanding" the game do taunt the L4D2 retards tho! Yukon is good, only thing i always disliked is the distance of the last point being a bit too long wich makes the map drag out between those points, other then that its a solid capture map and nice sober design lose animations havent really won me over yet, partially because their enforced wich i dont like, make it optional Valve most other stuff seems ok
Question is why the 10 sec team crit goes to the team that capped. I think it more fun to give the 10 sec crit to the defending team as a sort of vengeance strike.
Either way, think 10 secs is way to much. Could ruin the whole play I think. If the attack is setup well you can finish it all after the first cap. 5 seconds would be nice, give you some time to clear and secure the area.
would be nice if valve made a cvar for this and not make it standard what the hell were they thinkin when they did this :s
The crit buff is retarded but IIRC this is only a "boost" so in tournament mode it will be disabled. Yukon is insanly big. Also
