Exactly, "that should be the idea". In reality, they barely did that before and they certainly don't know. The Hurfburner is the worst weapon in the entire game, entirely useless against any decent player especially now with the damage reduction. Crits last about as long as it takes the enemy to turn around, and competent players turn around the instant they get damaged. Airblast buff is in no way a fair tradeoff for the major damage reduction on the flamethrower. The Airblasts utility in combat only comes close to that of the flamethrower damage (old) against Soldiers and Demos, and with the Flamethrower being decidedly worse than the Shotgun at all ranges now competent Soldiers have less trouble with Pyros than before. Demos are the only ones that might be affected, but then the Pyros lack of ability to get in Flamethrower range comes peeking around the corner again. I could consistently reflect DH rockets and Huntsman Arrows when I played Pyro regularly, along with maintaining a healthy K/D ratio. I know how to play Pyro, and the new Pyro is shit.
Excuse me, I had the average pubber in mind. I didn't consider the comp player, since pyro's is rarely used there. Cool, I hardly ever play pyro. That might explain the difference we have here.
shorter burn time also its was hard as pyro to kill a skilled soldier if he has his health. He turns around shoot twice and your dead.. however the "burn / push / crit axe hit" combo should be more in play now (not to mention the "screw up the uber pushers")
they screwed up a lot of things on the servers :S and prophunt is broken... once again :s I like every change they made, except the reduced damage on the pyro. Your also way faster out of ammo now :S I can live with the reduced time, but don't take my precious damage away I do love the new reflecting works much better. only why the damage! WHY?!
these stuff can happen, I mean in L4D soundpacks and skins are gone after an update, it's due stuff get updated or something. The servers weren't THAT screwed up..only the load out disconnected sometimes, you make it sound like this is the worst update ever! :lol: Pyro nerf was pretty sad to see actually. btw, why does the skull have a...ooh queensday isn't it?
it makes people lag i think cause today allmost half the server were warping :s the crown looks cool BTW
think I rewrite my pyro-script.... to something like this: bind mouse1 +pyro_m1 bind mouse2 "slot1;slot3" alias +pyro_m1 "+attack" alias -pyro_m1 "-attack;+attack2;-attack2" effective burning till let go for pushing away, and right mouse button to quickswap between burner and axe the heavy buff is too fucked... I play lots of arena... as scout I had a CHANCE to take out a heavy/medic by picking off the medic and good timing to attack the heavy.... now there is no point, he has all the time of the world to spin up in a split second.

the medals don't work, so nice going ya bludges (or what ever it is the sniper says) but guy's what did we expect? the previous (118) update's ALL needed aditional update's cause every update fucked up something else... why do any difrent now? :roll:
I started to play in Team Fortress 2 when No-Steam version was released... it was on a second day of normal version release, but I bought it only in the 2009... now my gold medal slowly transformed in the bronze one

I think they spend all of their time creating these websites and images with all of these ideas, they forget they actually need to implement them into the game
