well, the update didn't came as a shock to me, they already spoke about some unlockables which wouldn't work for the engineer in the blogposts  what about: less metal, slower hitting speed? ^^ let's wait and see what we're going to get^^
woooh i cant wait! just as long as engi wont become to overpowerd. like giving him a more damage dealing weapon then the shotgun...
where did that came from? how/when was it found. cuz the link talks about the classless update. is it that old?
yeah you're right, It's about the bots I think. this was from the classless update, where i think the TF2 bots were introduced in too.
It was? It surfaced yesterday, or at least to my knowledge and that of a lot others They are updating the bot's all the time though, might be something big they have planned.
Sorry, the TF bots wasn't introduced in the update but in a blogpost : http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=3279&p=1 and they keep tweaking the bots indeed, but I can vaguely remember that link, due that Robot in that pic. or it must been a deja vu xD
the link should prove it enough. it was from the classeless update. but this last update keeps getting worse. -Spy cloaking doesn't work properly -Half of the time unlocks are invisible -Prophunt stays broken -Pyro is still a big fail (it's not just a getting used to thing) -heavy very feels overpowered
Prophunt will be getting an update very soon. The mod is being fixed at the moment, we're waiting for the official release ( version 1.72)
That has to do with the verification of the equipped items that was introduced with the 119th update. the item (read weapon with some special properties) is not in the backpack of the player, and is therefore not shown to the players. there is a petition from Voogru to revert or ammend to that new policy. It prevent a lot of big mods to work correctly: Dodgeball, Prophunt etc. the thread: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... ?t=1251110 the petition: https://secure.voogru.com/petition/ Yes, it asks for the steam login, yes it is SAFE, Voogru used the steam api login to verify SteamID's. so this vote system is that much REAL accounts on steam... The bug also effects demo replay, any non-default weapon will not be shown in demo replay. I.E.: a soldier with direct hit SHOOTS ROCKETS WITH HIS BARE HANDS....
i said it before and i'll say it again "nice going valve..." yes we all love the free update's but the random updates are fucked up. and i agree with killvion heavy feels OP  after playing just now it realy feels difrent somehow... they made an allready easy class more easy to play and a couple update's back they made one of the hardest even harder :s i haven't played demo in weeks and now i can't seem to hit anything :s what the fuck are they doing to the game :s for godss sake valve just give us back the w+m1 pyro cause this is a big piece of BS
na the 2 tweaks make them both very bad for the game. heavy: by having the weapon in a shorter time up, he has just enough time to fend of the pyro without him thinking about all the corners, windows above etc where the pyro might hang out to surprise/flank him. pyro: losing his COMPLETE role as kamikaze pilot into the enemy setting everybody on fire to weaken the enemy, and pull the uber so they cannot use it later when they get closer to the sentry. effects: on arena servers the server dies within a couple rounds after 1 turns heavy... it ends up with who's got the most heavies and medics. bad for the game.
yep they srewed up the update, got some troubles yesterday with playing l4d2 and i know keltsu had some troubles with crashing tf2...
