I really don't care what everyone here told about Pyro. It is now skilled class, you need to think before attack, instead of W+M1'ing.
Exactly, people have to use air blasting more now which before no one did, it was hardly ever seen. Will be interesting to see whats done
Well, pyro being a skilled class? for bouncing rockets not.... they only need to keep M2 pressed, its so fast after each other that the chance of bouncing is near 100%. In the past you could proud yourselves bout it. Now its so very noob, that they need to automate it with >80% chance of bouncing it for the ppl that has not found the M2 button yet. :evil: But prolly the normal primary weapon won't do any fire anymore, that's then reserved for the backburner. :badgrin:
Disagree... :| The pyro is fine for an 'surprise' (just like the spy for example), only in pubs you can keep surprising people over and over again so you can keep playing pyro there. And it's actually fun if you know how to play it. I just don't understand why it's that people keep complaining about pyro's. Myself, I would rather start complaining about spies.
weird thing is, i shot a pill (nade) at a player in front of me and a pyro came from my right and airblasted the pill and it just flew back in my face :lol: looked realy weird it was like watching a boomerang (or boomepill/boomenade...)

They have installed a new quota that won't let you find stuff after x hours per week. So every one has the same chance to find stuff. Wasn't the afterburn 10 before? Good job Valve, rewarding players with skill more.
It used to be 10, then they changed it to 6 (which was way to short), now back to 10. Not a fan of a crit hit with the flare, i always seem to get hit by it xD Pyro is better with a shotty imo anyhow
Changing it to 8 would be the best, I wonder why didn't do that. And is it just the duration or also the damage that is upped.
the damage per sec is still same as with the nerf, it only lasts 4 sec longer (~29-32 total or so). as for the flare crit on distance, its a reward for hitting on distance, cos its not a real easy thing to do, esp as one can see it incoming. Finally the damage when doing kamikaze is nuff again to swipe enough of the enemy to give 'm pause to regroup, heal etc.
