it's not there yet playtesting weapons...an open beta....man, I think valve finally understood that you need some outside feedback (instead of friends/families) for testing stuff
only 60 people? still it's going to be 60 people against the whole TF2 comunity... so yeah these things are going to be eighter OP or so gamebraking that TF2 NEEDS a vanilla mod or else the game would just be unrecognizable and so unbalanced (or just TO difrent) it was good when there where 9 difrent classes... i realy think these last updates are going to brake the whole game and create an other 8 classes (they allready fucked the demo up making demoknights...) so i'm not realy so keen on seeing more weapons... i liked the medic and pyro update after that they started to loose the feeling i think and went WAY overboard with the unlocks but hey that's just my opinion... and if it brakes the game i hope we realy get a vanilla server with only the medic unlocks (pyro and engineer keep the upgrades like airblast and picking up buildings and upgrading stuff)
Nah anyone can join when it comes out, it's going to be a separate game/application like the CS:S beta. I meant there were about 60-100 in the chat of the live stream so only like 1000 at most of the community know about it at the moment.
there was a contest a while ago, where people had to design 3 weapons/hats etc. the winning packs would be released in tf2, which is referred as the polycount pack.
I really hope that this raises my fps, I kinda lost interest in TF2 because my fps were somewhere near 15. :/
No, since I used fps_max 300 and never got <300 anyway. Some people report increases as much as 30% though.
I dont use multicore rendering as it gave me more bugs, and i can run it fine since i overclocked my 920 from 2.6 to 3.6
Those other adventure rags would have saved a gem like that for the climatic ending of a four part story. lol L4D stab.
