Does being all blu and indestructable relate to having 4 rockets in a launcher and sentry guns around the corner? Does the medigun makes sense? An invisible spy? I don't think that makes a lot of sense either. How about respawning? How about hitpoints?
At least they got some humor. Code: // TF2 MMO "TF_MMO_LFG" "Looking For Group" "TF_MMO_Quest1" "You must kill %s1 %s2 to complete this quest." "TF_MMO_Monster1" "Boars" "TF_MMO_Monster2" "Rats" "TF_MMO_Monster3" "Bats" "TF_MMO_Monster4" "Wolves" "TF_MMO_Monster5" "Spiders" Found in the latest gfc
they switched TF2 into a cartoon game so al those things shouldn't a big deal because it fits into the game look. I mean some guns don't even have a trigger >.< like the minigun...the heavy fires it with his mind =D I do fear they are gonna make a kind of a mix of MMORPG and fps, and that is something I don't like if it should happen
I agree. If they wanna make a TF2 (MMO)RPG they should make it a spin off or a side-section, I dont wantspider in badwater while fighting the other team, thats just lame. Maybe some sort of story drive single player mode but nah keep focus on the meet the team movies first
It will propably be a joke. Valve has hidden jokes in the code in the past. If this however turns out to be a new gamemode, new maps and such will be needed. You guys can still play your beloved goldbowl without spiders
So in other words the Sniper will get a "close combat" Sniper Rifle as an unlockable. That's... gay honestly. I can already tell that I'll stick with the regular Rifle if I can't kill a overhealed Heavy anymore, just because I stay too far back.
Does that mean you don't use the flare gun too? Because it is gay that a CC class got a ranged weapon? Does that mean you don' use the sandman too? Because a CC class got a long distance weapon? I think they are not giving the sniper unlocks that fit him. It will probably be something without zoom and charge. The blog post itself contradicts however. Talking about you die when you are not better then the opposing player, why did they add crits? Hating to die die when you didn't engage the enemy, why add a sandman?
There's a difference between giving primarily short range classes extra long range capabilities to give them an extra edge vs other classes (like the pyro) and giving a physically-weak long range class like the sniper short range capabilities, which contradict with his low hp and low-damage secondary weapon. I don't think many sniper players will change to short range weapons, my opinion is that they specifically select the class to stay far away from the front lines (I'm not going to say for a lack of balls to test their skills like the rest of us, but, you know... )..
The more updates there are coming from Valve, the more the classes start to overlap each other. The original 9 classes and their jobs were fine. No need to to change that. Short range sniping is already accepted, by good snipers atleast. If you can play front line sniper you are way more of a help to the team, instead of some charging bastard 50 miles away. All hail the battle sniper.
Interp! Some kills you can just see that there's no way in hell the crosshair is on the opponent's head and still there's hs.. And what the hell is with that bunnyhopping on badlands, normal server much?
Sourcetv and spectator demo's aren't showing what the player sees at that particular time. For the player they where headshots. Bunnyhopping was on a tfturbo mod. A mod used in the begining for pro's to limit crits, enable bhopping etc. It's called autoaiming since the guild is named -AA- or autoaim, a tfc originated guild.
This one is posted before, and like warlordje saidI said before as well, you can see he doesnt even hit the head itself while it is still a headshot. He has amazing skills, dont get me wrong, but most arent real headshots as in he ch was over the head at the time he fired. The flaregun can be nice since it gives the pyro an option to break free from his very limited range. Not a major all-destroying weapon but just something. The stun can be agrued to give the relativly weak scout a weapon that gives him the option to come closer or shoot enemies with a little bt more safety. Where pyros are designed as CQ combat classes, they are still a class that can and should have more tactical options than to wait around a corner for enemies to get close. The sniper however is and has always been designed to take out enemies while staying behind the front lines. A sniper heading towards battle as CQ class is rather gay as cauchemar put it. You play sniper to SNIPE people, meaning you are at a distance and kill someone. I'm gonna stick to the sniper rifle unless the CQ gun is better, but then you would have a skinny australian heavy or something.
Jh and Bloodsire are part of a group called Auto Aim or -AA-... I don't think the sniper needs an update rly... @warlordje The hitboxes in tf2 are as fucked as they can possibly be, I can do shots like that too and sometimes the nmy isnt even onscreen when I shoot him in the head. The bunnyhopping is from a turboserver.
