I miss the option on scrambling on the % of won rounds by ppl on HLX and on the spectate thing to push back the person to the same team they came from, lol.
I do, its just annoying as hell to keep doing it which shouldnt even be needed if people stop being dicks.
The Anti-Stacking config is doing a wonderful job at stopping the stacking. kudos!!! Spoiler NOT! <a class="postlink" href="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=118331743" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =118331743</a>
Well I haven't played that much on AM1 recently, but here is what I think about the new system: It does not work. It doesn't really prevent stacking (for instance: without intention we had a nice rub!X clan stack the other day plus Asbak or Killvi) neither does it stops it buddies from top scoring on one team. Saturday night RandomHero got like an 18 Kill-Streak and tons of dominations as heavy while Asbak was her pocket medic. But do we really need to prevent that kind of stuff? Isn't that what makes the game fun, playing together with your friends? Sure it can be annoying when you get rolled over and over again or if the only medic in your team keeps running around with one and the same person. But for the first part we have rtv and vote scramble (and if that thing would work properly and really change teams, we would have more successful vote scrambles) and I think it's possible to don't allow players who got vote scrambled or auto balanced to restack or you could just punish them for doing so. And for the second part, if two buddies get to annoying, it will hurt if anyone (even from the same team) to politely ask, if the medic can heal some other players from time to time to make the game more fair for everybody. And aside from that, I have to say, that it's rarely the case that nearly all friend icons are on one side of the score board. So I never had the feeling that we such a big stacking problem. But the system as it now is doesn't really solve the problem.
don't think the real problem IS stacking but just most people that don't know teamwork... when you have 2 snipers on badwater in OFFENCE... 1 should do to pick of the snipers (and spy's should also help on that one) then you have 2 spy's running around doing nothing usefull (for example take out the tele entrance?) no (decent) medic, or some flaming idiot just buttmunching a heavy because of the free assists (and they don't see the point in healing soldiers and demo's for this for some odd reason) pyro's not spychecking... ever scouts not pusching but running to the enemy spawn or something or doing stupid things trying to take down a sentry -_- 4 engineers? why do we need 4 engineers to push out of the spawn? 1 would do with a minisentry just to make the spawn a bit safer (and doing some pushing when doing nothing usefull himself) everytime the same problem. sure stacking just makes it worse but i think THESE are the main reasons and not stacking on itself
yup unless the team's really stacked i rarely saw a full team working offense on pl_badwater where every class did as they were made for. But if the team really works well together than team stacking wouldn't be a problem anymore, problem is you can't really change this.
Seriously? Are all of you missing the shitters who keep teamswapping themselves to the winning team? How is that not stacking? Has nothing to do with people who dont know how to play. Since statistically, the people who are not good at the game should be evenly divided most of the time.
yeah that is still a problem but if you would take action against that with forced teams or not allowing them to be in spec that wouldn't be nice for friends that want to play together on the same team team or admins trying to oversee situations from spec. autoscramble also ain't a failure save solution, the points would become useless and the feeling of a team falls apart for you have to build it up again with a newly fit together set of people and the ones that were stacking could always go back to the other team when someone quits the server. for now i don't really see a solution that works out for everyone. unless you want to kick the obvious stackers every time or even ban those.
that's the problem yes but again most of the time they also know/feel the team is ment to fail. how to counter stacking? team up and go get 'm tiger  (get the team involved and try to come up with a strategy to take out that pesky sentry for example or send a "good" spy to take out that sniper that keeps hiding everywhere) every time i felt the other team was stacked my team sucked and i think had no cleu what the hell they were doing. or like i said had engineers doing stupid stuff, medics who just followd their friend and wouldn't heal anybody/had a quick fix, snipers just having a sniper batlle and doing a bad job even at that... if you have such a team would you like to keep playing in it?
Yes. I actually switch to that team most of the time to at least TRY and get it somewhat balanced. This makes it even more frustrating. Its always the same people switching the team and im very very very close to banning them, regardless if that causes a shitstorm later.
also just noticed with my alt that i can't join spectate -_- (dunno if all servers have this enabled) worst mistake you'll ever make... it screws up EVERYTHING (believe me, i made that mistake trying to counter stacking to and god did it bite me in the ass countless times)
