    I had to stop playing for the summer, but I don't really wanna get back :S . It's a shame, it was such an awesome games like, two years ago.

    it's just those gift like boxes you could find previous year, except now it's personalized, since only you can see the gift. (instead of the gift rush in the previous halloweens) spells are just silly effects that can be added to your guns or hats (like having green flames for flamethrower, pumpkin rockets or having flamey footsteps) and they will only last this halloween. after that they're gone. so they won't be incredible valuabe etc and generally just a fun neat little thingy for this halloween.

    Smissmas update for 2012 revealed to be "The Mecha Update"

    New content:
    • The Mecha-Engineer (Robot Engineer)
      New MvM map (probably in China setting)
      The Rescue Ranger (Engineer Shotgun)
      The Loose Cannon (Demoman Grenade Launcher)
      The Vaccinator (Medic Medigun)
      And ofcourse a shitload of new hats and other new weapons? INCLUDING new festive weapons

    Look at the picture, there's a festive axtinguisher, buff banner, frontier justice, huntsman...

    Really too bad that they are in crates only.

    I think that the new festives including the strange ones won't be as high in price as last year's. Since last year's stranges are expensive now, I think alot of people will invest in such festives for "profit". So I presume that this year there are going to be alot more festive stranges. c:

    I can't wait to see those new weapons...
    The demoman really needed another GL IMO
    The eng...why not...
    And for the new medigun...let's hope Valve didn't make a medigun worse than the quick-fix :?

    So, Item retirement in team fortress.

    On the one hand it's good to have a small percentage chance to get one of the newer hats/miscs, but on the other hand it's sad to see items getting out of the rotation.

    My guess is that some fixes won't be good fixes :S

    badwater smal-roof, I used to jump up there as soldier/demo and rain from above, together with a engy in the small hole below, I could tank up and keep the alley clear.
