    Ah frak, typed a whole reply on it and it didn't post.
    meh.

    Anyways:

    always too hard to come up with something which pleases everyone ( vritually impossible), easiest solution would be to run 17 servers with only 1 map only on each server. But that's a bit boring I think :)

    But keep em coming, maps who are disliked and liked the most!
    Is usefull information for us!

    maybe a stadard cycle and not a vote?

    or not always the same maps in votes?

    I really like it the way it is now, sometimes we get a custom and sometimes there is a lot of goldbowl... it works great, and there are a lot less people leaving because of the map

    well i was playing last night and a vote came up . 13 votes for pl_swift ! . so the mapchange came up and we got left with 8 players ... then some start complaining , to big ect... we ended up with 4 players .

    Steel fails hard. Too bad little Badlands / Granary / Well / Fastlane is played.
    Mostly Goldbowl and Badwater.

    All I've played today is Goldrush, Badwater and Dustbowl.

    For starters, put other maps on nr1 for the mapvotes pls....

    Isn't there a way to exclude the last 2/3 maps that where played from the map vote? With such a system there would be more diversity.

    i agree . if the server empty's an admin can always switch it back to a populair map .

    But that won't happen.
    Experience from the past untill now.

    Can and will raise the number of maps excluded form the votes to something more appropiate, but it would be nice to see regulars too press for something else that the standards and stay in the server when it's getting emptier because of a more impopular map.

    The mapvote pops up suddenly, most of the time I am busy doing something and a quick glance is as much as I can give it, or a weapon switch to slot 1 /2 does the job. I have been to a server where there would be a countdown 5/4/3/2/1/mapvote on screen. Maybe that helps to let people purposly choose.

    Duxi had a great suggestion of trying to popup mapvotes in the spawnperiod beforehand
    might be a bit too soon as not everyone will even see the end of that map, but could still prevent more "1" bashing and get more of a concious vote, have voted myself on accident by the random pop up so i think the countdown could also be very usefull

    today again on server 2, we went from dust to badwater to goldr, to dust, to badwater, to dust..
