the teleport plugin is admin only (standard kick flag wich i can easely override and add to the menu hehe) giving this to players is indeed a nogo xD
Kick is being bad. As update: we are running a NEW cpsaver, you can save up to 30 points. Just use !save, and !tele, you can get a menu with !cp and you can rotate through your 30 saves. Best of all, this STAYS with you across maps. So if you didn't finish a map, you can always type in !tele and it will bring you to the last spot you where on. For soldier i did add that they cannot damage themselfs, since most maps have that anyway. Also a new addition, the locker supply sound, the "argh" from demo and soldier sounds are removed. So if i map has constant locker refill it wont make that sound anymore!
no it's for people NOT getting past jumps... not for people who fail the jump and have to start over. aslo there are a LOT of crap maps :s just played on that just didn't make any scense at all (hard jumps changed to normal and vice versa????) no walls etc. ok after going trough 3 maps wich where just TO hard for normal people... i just quit (and so did many others)

i would really want a download link with all the maps and such. Dont forget that we need to create a <mapname>_level_sounds.txt for each map on the server which allows us to disable the locker and "argh" sounds from soldiers/demomans.
@ snelvuur: you can use the fastdownload link that the servers provide, make it browsable, and you can provide that link. @ others: join the server, cancel the connection, type in TF2 console: sv_downloadurl you get the URL where the maps are served from the server, and put it into the browser, and you can directly download any needed maps.

@datastorm: i used a special method for the download server which makes it impossible for people to download the maps. The reason is that it is really easy to steal/abuse/use our download server then for the good of others. We once had that and it saved a lot of traffic when we closed it down. Pretty much saying, you need to be ingame, get redirected by one of our server and you need to have the hl2 client download it. If you dont meed those criteria -> no download.
ok server is novice friendly now now all i need to do is look over all the maps (maybe add a few) and put them in more catagories (now it's normal/hard and it's going to be normal/hard/demo/soldier/mixed) also RTV is the ONLY way to change a map (the maps should continue on timelimit) so keep the following things in mind ^^ !nominate (to nominate a map, 1 map/person, changes first nominated map when done a second time) RTV (rock the vote offcourse) !save (save your location) !tele... (go to last save location) oh and i also have a handy rocketjump script if anybody's intrested hehe (i have it on rmb but i can't however use the cowmangler charge haha)
There are also scout jump maps (with and without atomizer) and engineer build maps etc. Question is, do you want 'm on 'm...
engi build maps are useless now xD (i did some rocketjump maps with engineer haha) oh and removed a double entry of adventure (thx to nemonorm for noticing hehe)
But what you didn't know is that more servers are probably coming, so scout, engi and demoman maps are also welcome. And it's fun...
could be a nice idea for the other server ^^ forgot the name where you need to use ALL classes to advance the map, that would also be a nice adition to that server (but keep this one soly rocketjump/demojump)
There have been a lot of complaints on the server lately (most of the time the server was pretty crowded). Its about the deathmatching occuring in the first courses of every map. People dont even get the chance to rocketjump because they get killed instantly by other players after spawning (stickies, sentries etc.), which leads to an instant ragequit. Why arent engineer/medic/scout classes restricted? I dont even understand why people are able to join as medic... All maps are designed for soldier and demo and I never saw someone trying to solve a course with engineer... well only if he was just desperately trying to skip the pogo with buildings :lol: Some other ideas: -Maybe add noclipping through enemy players, sometimes a blue and red soldier get stuck and the only solution is that someone has to die. -Restricting the stock rocket launcher/sticky launcher and replacing it with the jumper editions would be a suitable solution for the deathmatching (like in the vsh servers, just the opposite way) or just add a !god function to be invulnerable...
I want my engineer jumps But yeah there should be something done about the killing, maybe disable one team or something?
