I've added the number of refined according to that site after your hats.

 

Meh, it all depends on the buyer. Those prices might be for the heartless traders. Who trade simply for making profit and stuff. But we're targeting those who want to trade their hats for something cool they want.

Besides, since June 1st, there have been some new hats already. So the price for the Team Captain should have dropped already.

 

I look at it like the real economy - if you had a bar of gold bullion, and wanted a car, you wouldn't just trade the gold for the car, you would sell the gold, then buy the car with the proceeds and keep the rest of the money for when you want something else

 

1) TF2 is not the real economy.
2) Unless Gold, hats have a large emotional value. There are some hats I wouldn't want to trade even I would get a sick offer for it in term of what other people think that hat is worth. The prices are personal. And no matter what some spreadsheet tells me, I base my actions on my and others feelings.

But if i had a hat worth 9 refined, i wouldn't trade it for 2 hats worth 3 refined each (even if i wanted them), id trade it for 9 refined, then trade it for the hats i wanted and still have some left over for other things.

Your always going to find people who dont care about the trading value, but they are few and far between.

 

rofl, double drop week for me = quadruple drop week last week, and it still lasts... till tomorrow.

I had 30-40 items last week on accounts, and today/tomo it seems to be repeating...

 

had 3 hat drops, lol, shame I had 'm already.

 

with some spare accounts i got in total of 100 drops.. not 1 single hat..

 

Only the one account here, got about 30 drops - including the Noh Mercy spy hat, looks epic with camera beard.
