Exactly. Right mouse click is now on all weapons preserved for stickies, and with the shield replacing the sticky launcher it makes sense that its something passive like the razorback, which can be activated at all times. This would be ideal for the demoman. And therefor its betetr if its not there. Demoman is a very powerful class, an it has been very OP for quite a while. I think giving demos a shotgun kind of throws it off balance. Also, the fact that the demo is becomming a melee class just doesnt seem right or logical. its aDEMOLITION man not a run-into-solid-objects-man. Also with the shield giving less life and the health pool to begin with, the demoman is not the class that would get you to melee range. Oh and this completly fucks up melee-fights to fill up servers. Everyone will go for the weapon that backstabs from all possible sides.

I just came when I read about the new unlock. Although I still have to see how easy it will be to get people in the air first, with the reduced knockback and all. If this works I will be a goddamn S.A.M. station. Also the demo is catching up? Looks like someone found a way to cheat the numbers.
lol :lol: I want AGMs as second unlock to replace it But theres a lot of thought on this for me. I wouldnt call myself a spammer soldier, but i do aim for the feet and not the head. And with this one you have to hit your target straight on. Bucket you say that it'll draw a line between noobs and pro's, so does that mean that pros never aim for the grund but always straight for their targets stomach?.. Bravo if you manage to hit people from a medium or longer distance then, because imo its pretty hard to exactly predict where a target is going to be in 5 seconds.
Depends on where your target is, what he is doing, what class etc. Ideally you want to pop your target in the air so aiming at the feet is the best way to do that. If you aim at the feet and you miss you will still have the splash damage. However you target suffers less damage from splash then direct hits. So if you are sure you can hit the target, eg he is running away, distracted, camping. The direct would be better. For mediumish to long range you are better of using a shotgun if you have decent oposition. Or rocketjump to close the distance. What buckets means is that people that can shoot targets out of the air are going to rape. Also scoring directs instead of using splash damage is harder, especially with the -70% splashdamage.

Neat... neat... curious how this Rocket Launcher is going to be... I already did some math about how quick those Rockets are going to be. Regular rockets go at 1100 Hammer Units p/sec. Add 80% and we got 1980 Hammer Units p/sec. That's slightly faster than an uncharged Huntsman shot (1875 Units p/sec.). (Fully charged ones go at 2345 Units p/sec.) I wonder if the Ammunition is going to be the same. Valve didn't say anything about how much Rockets can be carried and more importantly how many are loaded in this baby. Doesn't surprise me. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Wheter someone is wearing a hat or not is nowadays the easiest sign to check for spies, since pretty much everyone wears hats and if it's just the Gibus. I always notice that I get Spychecked a lot, since I don't wear a hat with every single class I play. ^^
Well it does say it has 25% more destruction force. Which i believe would mean that you would be able to jump higher?? Well we will see.

Btw I do think you can still use if to rocket jump, but maybe the timing is going to be a bit different. Since the rockets are like twice as fast. Now ofcourse the distance isnt all that big but since you appearenlty need perfect timing for perfect jumps, you have to take it into account.
think it will be exactly the same (this IS what make's the soldier to what he is) the rockets just go faster, so if u want to do a airshot it's easy'er to do Because you don't need to aim to where he's going to be a sec later and just shoot him straight on
I have the feeling that this rocket launcher only has 1 rocket at a time... because you actually see the rocket comming out. It looks a lot like the first models of the rocket launcher btw...
