K fine, I will never post something again. And this one isn't in the game. I meant if HHH raged then EVERYONE, even if they are far away, are scared.
The point of the thread is to let people step forward and reveal their ideas and suggestions so we can discuss about which ideas are great, which ideas would be great with a little fine tuning and which ideas most likely won't work. My point is that the more ideas, both good and bad, we get here, the more chances we have to figure out/think about new possible plugins/mods/alterations for the admins of LZ and makers of VSH-mod in order to make the VSH servers better, but that still doesn't mean that we should basically kick people out of this thread if they post "bad ideas", it's a learning process for everyone where one person places an idea on the table where others can look at it ánd give their thoughts about it. This way we can look at an idea from as many perspective as possible and point out which part(s) of the idea are good and which are... "not so functional." Spoiler In other words: Don't be assholes to eachother, let others tell about their ideas and opinions. Something that you don't like is bound to be something that someone else DOES like. Be constructive and fair by being mature and pointing out what the person that posted the idea may not have thought about instead of just saying the idea is bad without backing up your opinion and basically just spitting on their faces. >=C
If you tell others to stop doing stuff where the topic was meant for in the first place then you can and will be removed. Bad ideas are still ideas. Good ideas could come from bad ideas that matured.
Would you kindly mind your language? If I were to come across something similar to this again, I might consider a suspension on your account. Seeing as you applied for adminship multiple times, I would also like to point out that this is not how an admin is ought to behave, be it on the forums or in-game. Now back on topic.
Seriously, grow up. Don't come to the forums with that kind of language and expect to be greeted nicely. Also everyone is open to their opinion and stuff, and you don't have the right to tell someone to stop posting ideas. And this word "Scunt". Seriously what is that? Because I'm just reading it without the "S" - thus you should probably know that's a pretty bad word to be using out in the open and it has very strong meanings behind it. And are you seriously being serious with this medic(k)? Lmao, that just sums up the age range of that server.
I'm sorry everyone, It's my fault. I shouldn't said anything here in the first place. I think that this thread is becoming a battlefield that I started and I apologize for this. another thing: I think a "Scunt" means a scout that doesn't help teammates like for example bonking Saxton.
It is completly not your fault. This is a suggestions thread, like I'v already said, Dark had no right to tell you to stop posting. If an idea is good or bad, and you feel it is a good idea, post it. This thread is to see those suggestions and to discuss them. People can post constructive feedback on your ideas and this thread can then be looked at and good, improved on ideas prehaps implemented into the game mode.
Can we somehow tweak hhhj's teleport so player can get out of him? Being stuck in hhhj gives you practicly no chance to escape. I know he can't high jump, but halse brave jump doesn't make players stuck in him.
It is possible to avoid getting stuck, but you have to be in air while he teleports. Even easier with soldier, just rocketjump around when he is about to teleport and you wont get stuck. As for removing the clipping... I think thats pretty much the only advantage HHH has against some classes (pyro, engineer etc.). I'm not sure if that needs to be tweaked.
I was thinking the same, this is quite a good thing if you are HHHJr. Although if you teleport to a medic who has an über, you are pretty much done :doubt:
Rocketjumping works well, but it's not a quaranteed fact that you can get out off, since it mostly works when the Soldier starts the rocketjump. If he's in midair around the peak height, he's gonna get stuck with HHH. What I think is happening with the HHH's teleport is that when he teles to a random players, he only get's stuck to the player if their hitboxes collide and partically merge together. The only way to prevent getting stuck is to move fast when he teles, because of hitboxes like to live their own life a bit, in, in the game, a players hitbox is actually alittle bit ahead of the player, depending on the lag. This is why most of the Scouts never get stuck when HHH teles to them, since the teleporting teles HHH to center of the other player, but immediated after he teles, his hitbox is still not there, which gives additional fraction of a second before HHH and the player would get stuck to eachother. Personally I think it's more like a "double-edged sword" since most of the time like Darkness mentioned: people who get stuck in HHH are dead meat, unless the unlucky player get's a cr!pload of help, including getting an über, everyone making a whole lot of knockback and some luck. This may seem unfair for some players, but sometimes HHH can REALLY get in trouble if the team knows what they're doing, such as bunch of übers, Spies backstabbing, übered Heavies on point blank, something related to and a whole lot other stuff. If this is to be changed, I suggest that the tele is modified to: A) Remove clipping completely, so that HHH can run through enemies (including buildings B) When HHH teles to a random player, the players who would get stuck in him (yes, more than one player CAN get stuck in HHH at once!) get scared with an "automatic point blank rage" (which does not use the actual rage activated by taunting) for 2 seconds, however, those players would not clip on HHH so they can walk out of him, but after they get out, they clip on HHH again. This would balance out the tele and make it more balanced for both HHH and the rest of the players. C) Somehow make it easier to get out of HHH, like melee hitting 2 or 3 times releases the player by disabling the clipping in the same way the clipping is disabled in option B. D) If none of these above sounds good, I still suggest that HHH should have some kind of damage resistance, since he can't just jump away from the other players like every other boss, so he's gonna take a beating even when he tries to escape. Spoiler Pop Fact: The Scout is often called "Scunt" in the servers. Some people call the useless Scouts with this name, who mainly keep just running around without attacking Hale (or other bosses), don't help teammates and hide somewhere so they get the "last man crits" and STILL deal less than 1k dmg or just simply fail, horribly. However, not every Scout is a "Scunt" since some people actually know what to do and actually deal some nice dmg. Using the name "Scunt" in the servers is fine if there actually is a Scout that doesn't do squat, just running around avoiding the fight, but here on the forums, using that nicname isn't exactly making you or anyone else look cool. Even I call some Scouts "Scunts" in the servers, I was among the first people who started using that name, but I only use it if the Scout(s) is/are really being useless (just running around without fighting) or just wasting time (like trying to kill Hale who has over 10k health left or just running away), but here in the forums, Scout = Scout, and let's keep it that way in here by not using that nicname here to keep the thread and the rest of the forum nice and clean. End of subject. Period
Spoiler Actually calling people names is NEVER allowed and if I see it I will warn>kick>ban as usual. If people screw up/fail you can say stuff like: Why didnt you uber me? Why didnt you help me? etc etc. But calling people names is simply not acceptable under any circumstance.
HHH -> jump down, tele.. kill.. -> jump down -> tele .. kill -> repeat. There is always a sollution and always a problem ;p
well... maybe make it so that he just gets teleported back to the space just before he jumped off. that would possibly stop them from doing that little move.
