VSH Map bugs/glitches/errors thread.

    Thinking something about hydroelectric:
    "normal" players will get killed by the blades, like with this version.
    But when hale get pushed to them, the blades will stop rotating and an explosion will push hale away from the blades.
    It will give a chance for hale to kill other players. The explosion may cause about 3000 dmg?
    What you think about that?

    Is it possible to have a screenshot of all bugs you've seen, or if you cant, just post a screenshot of the map, so then I can see which map you talking about.

    Isn't 3000 dmg a bit much, seeing how many times hale gets pushed there?

    The thing is that the blades will not work anymore, untill new round :)

    If hale get push to them, the blades will be definitely broken.
    But if non-hale players fall in water and get killed by the blades it wont stop working :)

    So if a player falls in before the hale, he will get killed. But if he falls in after the hale fell in, he will survive?

    What you think about that?

    edit: If the left blade is broken, the right will still working.
    Non-hale players will die till hale broke the blade.
    Each blades hurt with 2500 every half second, if hale touch them, it stop instantaneously.

    make sure the currents disappear when the blades stop working

    while you're fixing the blades can you also raise the height of the invisible walls above spawns? so that soldiers (and other classes capable of surviving rocketme) with manrteads can't get ove it?

    need picture pls.

    As I said earlier in this thread, this map need optimisation, which takes age. It also need a fix for the doors not open for opposite team.

    still not fixed?

    Same launching platforms as oilrig are good?

    More cave? why not. and more platforms, props... things that can hide the sniper view :)

    nervegas start earlier, ok :)

    Can increase the time before the moon crash? so then we can play for 3-4min before death?

    need screenshot :)

    looks like the map isnt finished...

    New "exploit", you can't really call it an exploit, just a small area where you shouldn't go. It's near each spawn, behind a fence with a huge nodraw above it, but the maker forgot he had an other entrance...

    I would remove the random moon completely.

    Another small thingy that need to get fixed: the stairs in arena_concord_b3nd. They can use some playerclip.

    EDIT: Nemesis will do it when he has some spare time.

    There is a little bug that makes hale / Players Somehow go out of the map. People are trying right now finding a reason why.

    Allrighty here s alittle improvement ideo for Crevice.

    Sometimes the jumppads get stuck for hale. You know if someone could make some kinda stairs or a slope to get up.
    Rocketme doesn't allways work either so we need a route to get up besides jumppads!

    Well tis been a while since I played, AOE3 got me addicted. Anyway... when I came back to play a bit I noticed a bug on vsh_dropdown_b1_fix:
    Next to the fixed exploit spot there are wines on the wall and players can get stuck in them forever.

    Additionally it is so tempting to ban players I see trying to use the exploit but dont work anymore... cant we edit the map so engineers can build there again and the moment they enter that spot they die instantly? I need some amusement DX

    Edit: Oh and Live, the crevice launch pad bug only happens with HHHJr. Sometimes HHHJr gets bugged and cant be airblasted, stunned with SC, cant cap the point and isnt affected by enviromental effects/damage (launch pads/pits).

    It ain't sometimes. Not 100% sure but I believe after first teleportation he can't use 'em and can't get stunned,blasted etc.
