same here around 1.1 sensi ingame + 800 dpi for scout/sniper and 1.1 + 1200 dpi for solly/demo 5600 dpi + 0.8 is insanely fast for me x)
The other day I played with 1400 dpi and 6 sens in TF2 by mistake, it took me some time to figure out what was strange... the most strange part is that I got used to this setting, when I got back to my normal setting (800 dpi and 6 in TF2, which is already quite high !), I just couldn't play ^^' . Also, the last thing i bought was : For cooking / burning them in a fire, yesterday .
Could you give some feedback about that mat ? A few months ago I decided that I should buy a mousepad, but which one ^^. Roccat Sota looked like being good but I'm still wondering as there are high sens mats and low sens mats too, depends on the mouse you've got...
And, after some getting used to, it is nice. While I prefer Minecraft for the building part, Terraria's fight system is much better. P.S. No worries, I'll stay faithful to my Minecraft, once it's running again.
I would recommend this: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-051-QP&groupid=702&catid=32&subcat=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... 32&subcat=</a> I have the large white version of that; but its bigger than i need, i probably never use the far end of it, and as it's white it has developed a large brown sweat stain where my wrist rests... So medium black is probably the best one. It certainly has not degraded overtime (been using it for about 18 months) and is very smooth without being overly slippy. It also comes with some feet to add to the bottom of your mouse if you need them.
I got Razer Destructor mousepad. It's brilliant. Really happy with that one. Not too big not too small, basically perfect. Actually I think I'll put my sens to 1.0. This mouse is a bit heavier than my old and slides slower over my mat... Still have to get used to it a lot :| Awesome mouse though, really comfortable
I myself am using a Steelseries QcK+ Fnatic. I used a Razer eXactmat before this one. But really I think that as long as you have a cloth mousemat with a no slip surface on either side, there's not a lot of difference except for the dimensions. My mousemat is 40*45*0.4 cm.
I have got the Sharkoon 1337 XL. It's 40x45cm with rubber anti-slib on the bottom and specially woven carbonfiber top. It has a cool print and I totally love it. It's also very affordable, so check it out.
i have a tulip computers mousepad, it's 3x2.5thumbs and it's totally worn down due its old age, but it has a nice red tulip print on it! flowers are cool 8)
then thing is even smaller than your mouse, I've never been able to understand how you can play with that.
roses are better. Ah, silly dutch people with their tulips... Spoiler In french rose = pink, I hope this will help me not to be killed
