You could do that. However technically I 'bought' a preorder. The official English version isn't released yet although the fan translation has been out for over 3 years. Both the Japanese version and the fan translation are very easy to find online so you don't really have to buy it.
I just bought the real thing because I'm a Saya/Nitro+ fanboy

If the can was actually filled with pure air, it should have exploded by now. You're paying 10 bucks for a gas mixture, of quite a fair uncompressed volume, which, due its chemistry, is still able to be compressed in there.
