Pretty nice buy! I just bought this beauty: Spoiler Nintendo 3DS - The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Limited Edition (comes with the game, of course) This is the reason why I didn't buy a 3DS before, I knew something like this would be released. :3!
last things i bought was Zeno Clash, The Witcher, Overlord complete pack, SIN Episodes: Emergence for a total of around 15 bucks.
Got myself a new monitor (finally !!!) and a new GPU (even more finally!!!) Dell U2312HM LCD with Edge-LED and an IPS panel so I've got sparkling Full HD colors on every angle. Dell U2312HM Review The engine behind this screen is a XFX HD6870 Dual Fan (HD-687A-ZDFC) XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB Dual Fan Edition Review Next on the wanted list is a new mainboard/cpu/mem :doubt:
Nice stuff you've got there, but the response time is around 8ms. I hope it wont be a problem for you in games.
8ms normally doesnt cause any problems. 2ms panels deliver shittier colours and viewing angle quality falloff as a tradeoff for the lower reaction time, that doesnt actually matter.
A friend of mine used to have some "ghosting" problems with his 8ms, hope this screen is better than older 8ms used to be ;p
If you actually red the review you would see it does even better then 'faster' monitors: almost no input lagg and an overdrive function... Nice monitor last days of the month...
Good thing that you've read it Rex, helps understanding why I choose this monitor. The claimed response time means shit, its just an indication. I've been scouting monitors for days once I setted up my minimum requirements list, which was: 1) IPS panel (better (and more) colors and viewing angle then TN panels) 2) Suitable for gaming (so a good G2G value and no or very little input lag) 3) Needs to have DVI and HDMI/Display port connections 4) Being affordable (so no more than 200/250 euro) Lots of monitors passed my eye and read many reviews. One by one they were taken off my list and this one survived. Must say I am pretty pleased with it. I would recommend it to you. My first game in L4D2 was completely ruined because there were so many distractions now Also happy with the GPU since its silent. With my old GPU it sounded like a plane took off when I turned on my PC
