Bought one of these.. http://www.raspberrypi.org/faqs nice to run xbmc on, it auto turns on if you click on hdmi-1 on your tv, and then it uses the hdmi-cec channel to use the buttons of your current remote to control the xbmc. Assuming you have a hdmi-cec enabled t.v.
Well that does suck, but wiping it once or twice a week isn't to much of a hassle, assuming you stick a big enough card in it.
Spent about £60 on shaving stuff; quite an investment but hopefully worth it in the long run: Single blade safety Razor: Badger Hair brush: Lathering up bowl: Some proper shaving cream (none of this squirty can crap ) Had about 3 shaves with it so far and only cut myself once on the last go, sharp is an understatement! Would never go back to a multi blade gillette/wilkinson sword after using a single blade razor. Next stop - a cut throat
Yea, there's a reason I'm using an electric shaver. If I were to use such a thing, I'd probably kill myself within a week.
Yeah but you have to use your electric shaver quite often cause if you don't shave for one week it's already fucked up ;s. Quite a nice one you have kittens ;p Spoiler I smell pies ;D
How does this compare to one of those 5 blade shavers? Like, my blades are retardedly expensive and after this you only have to buy new shaving cream right? How much did the blades and the cream cost you?
It is much better than the multi blade razors, and cheaper in the long run. The cream is about £9 for a fairly large tub, can see it lasting a long time, as it has sandalwood in it it smells really nice as well. I can still smell it faintly the next day. You can buy 100 blades for £8.90 from amazon, my brother has been using a single blade shaver longer than me and he can get 5 shaves easily out of a single blade, but his growth is thicker than mine. So assuming you get 5 shaves from every blade, that is less than 2p per shave, not including the initial cost or shaving cream. Sadly I just can't grow a beard, better to shave it off than have patchy blonde hair on my chin, I did have sideburns for a while, but the right side grew much thicker, so it looked odd...
You are my favorite person for the week. I've been researching this stuff for some time too now. Orderded it online or do you know a good local shop? I'd love to try out a straight razor, but there's also the techniques accompanied with it... It's on my list though. PS: For people that are interested in stuff like that, The Art of Manliness is an interesting site.
